Filled with the fragrance of lavender and glorious colours, the Formal Garden is the perfect location to dream, relax and share in romantic moments with your loved one.
The Rose Sanctuary —
A magnificent wooden walkway sets the scene to an elaborate climbing canopy of Pierre De Ronsard climbing roses. The pink petals kiss the summer air, flutter in the breeze and amaze the senses with their abundant, lush and overgrown rambling growth.
The Fig Tree —
Masculine, yet totally lust worthy, the giant Moreton Bay fig tree at Terara Riverside Gardens is a showstopper. Surrounded by luscious green trees, your guests and your bridal party will meander around the secret walkways and feel lost in time.
The Greenhouse —
Our tranquil, romantic and luscious greenhouse is the perfect all-weather option for backup ceremonies or small intimate receptions. This dreamy space is filled with an array of incredible plants, an ambient roof of festoon lighting and overlooks the amazing gardens.
Reception
Turn your dream wedding into a reality, utilising our large white permanent marquee, set on a lush green paddock, with views of the entire property. It seats 120 people, which is attached to a rustic barn for your music and dancing.
The rustic barn boasts a gorgeous bar, equipped with a commercial drinks fridge, allowing your guests to enjoy a cold beverage with your loved ones.

Natural light oozes throughout the space, allowing you to feel like you’re sitting outdoors, all while remaining comfortable inside.
All the necessities —
Tables, chairs and all the necessities such as glassware, crockery and cutlery is included, making the space an easy and streamline option for your special day. Wine barrels, lounges and outdoor furniture, along with lighting and a newly built sound system, means every detail is thought of.
Ceremony
Your ceremony can be held on the beautiful riverbank with extensive views of plush green meadows and or blue-grey Cambewarra Mountain Range, or in one of the many gorgeous garden areas on the 5-acre property.
We have a sea of purple jacarandas, or a pink festival of crepe myrtles, not to mention our incredible fig tree.

Accommodation
Rest-assured you can feel relaxed and ready for your big day while staying in our on-site accommodation. Beautifully renovated in 2017, the space boasts one king size bedroom and three queen-size bedrooms, a kitchenette, lounge room, two bathrooms, a pamper studio for your hair and makeup, and a wrap-around balcony to take in the garden views.
It comfortably sleeps eight guests, allowing the bride and her bridesmaids to pamper and chill the night before the wedding. The accommodation is yours for two nights, meaning you and your loved one can enjoy the first night as a married couple in comfort.
